The easiest way is to download maps on a PC first, then move them using a USB drive. I’ve been doing this for years, and it’s always been a smooth process.

Win official PlayStation gift cards by playing games on Playbite!

You can download Minecraft maps on PS3 by using a USB stick. First, download the map on your computer. Then transfer the map to the USB stick and plug it into your PS3. Next, copy the map save data to your PS3's Minecraft save data folder. Finally, load up Minecraft and enjoy your new map!

Pretty simple process. Just grab the map file on your computer, put it on a USB, and transfer it to your PS3. Done.

Just use the USB method or get maps from trusted sources online. Make sure they're PS3 compatible, though!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
