Getting Minecraft up and running on your Steam Deck is like a mini-adventure! First off, you'll need to enable Desktop Mode on your Steam Deck. Then, hop onto the web browser and head over to the Minecraft website to buy and download the 'Minecraft: Java Edition'. After downloading, just install it like you would on any PC. Don't forget to switch back to Gaming Mode to bring your Steam Deck back to its full glory!

Ain't available directly on Steam, folks. You gotta switch to Desktop Mode, buy Minecraft from the official site, and install it manually. A bit of a roundabout but totally doable.

Directly on Steam? Nope. But that doesn鈥檛 stop the gaming train. Desktop Mode is your ticket to Minecraft town. Get it from the official Minecraft site, install, and you鈥檙e golden.

Minecraft on Steam Deck? Just switch to Desktop Mode, go to the Minecraft website, and download it from there. Easy peasy.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
