From personal experience, open the Audible app, navigate to your Library, and press the download arrow next to your audiobook. Done!
Find your audiobook in the Audible app's Library, then simply tap the download button. Not much to it!
Just go to your Audible library, click on the title you want, and hit 'Download'. Easy peasy!
