Here's the trick: You need to sideload the Google Play Store on your Kindle Fire first. Once you have that set up, you can download Pokemon GO just like on any Android device. I've done it myself, and it works perfectly!

You can't download it directly from the Amazon Appstore, so your best bet is to install the Google Play Store. After that, just search for Pokemon GO and install it as usual.

Give up. Just play something else on your Kindle Fire.

Skip the Amazon Appstore. Install Google Play Store on your Kindle Fire and then you can get Pokemon GO from there. It's a couple of extra steps but totally worth it.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
