First, make sure your PS3 is connected via Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi, which can give you a more stable and faster connection. Second, pause any other ongoing downloads and installations on your network. Third, try downloading during off-peak hours when the internet is less congested.

LOL, it's 2023鈥攗pgrade to a PS5! But seriously, an Ethernet cable and pausing other downloads should help.

Ethernet > Wi-Fi. Trust me, it speeds things up a lot!

From personal experience, upgrading your internet plan to a higher speed tier made a noticeable difference for me. Also, clear your PS3's cache if you're experiencing unusually slow downloads.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
