You need to format the external drive to FAT32, plug it into the PS3, and then use the system's backup utility to transfer the games.

First, make sure your external hard drive is formatted to FAT32 because the PS3 only supports that file system. Then, connect the hard drive to your PS3, go to the game you want, press the triangle button, and select 'Copy.' Easy peasy!

Don't forget to format your external hard drive to FAT32. After that, connect it to your PS3 and navigate to the Game Data Utility. Highlight the game you want to transfer, press Triangle, and select 'Copy.'

Eh, just play the games from the internal storage. Handling an external drive on a PS3 is kinda a pain to be honest.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
