Honestly, I never bothered with roster updates. Just play with what you got!

Easy peasy! Just start your NBA 2K16 game, go to 'Options/Features' in the main menu, select 'Roster Creator' then 'Create Roster.' Choose the official 2K Sports updated roster and save it. You're all set!
