Make sure your Nintendo Switch is connected to the internet, then simply go to 'Update Software' on the Splatoon 2 icon. Boom, you're all set!
Honestly, you just need to go to settings and hit update. Not rocket science!
Once I did it, I found it was easy peasy! Just open Splatoon 2 on your Switch, it usually updates automatically. If not, just follow the steps to update manually through the settings!
