I tried downloading Spotify directly through the desktop mode but ended up using a web browser for Spotify instead. Sometimes, the app gives me a hard time on the Deck.

Getting Spotify on your Steam Deck is pretty straightforward since it runs on a Linux-based OS and can handle desktop applications! Here's a quick guide: 1. Switch your Steam Deck to Desktop Mode. 2. Open the Discover Software Center. 3. Search for Spotify and install it. Just like that, you're ready to rock with your favorite tunes while gaming!

Why bother with the app? Just use Spotify's web player in desktop mode. Works like a charm and no need to download anything.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
