First, you’ll need to download the Project64 emulator, which you can grab from their official website. Then, find a legal copy of the Super Mario 64 ROM (make sure you own the game!). Open Project64, click on 'File' > 'Load ROM', and select your Super Mario 64 file. You're ready to start jumping and stomping Goombas!

Download Project64 from their official site, then find a Super Mario 64 ROM (legally!). Open it with Project64. It's-a-me, Mario!

I’ve been playing Mario 64 on Project64 for years. Get Project64, load up a legit ROM of Super Mario 64, and you’re set. Simple as that!
