Downloading Windows on your Steam Deck isn't exactly like installing software on a typical PC, but it's totally doable! First up, you gotta prep a USB drive with the Windows installation media on it. Microsoft's got a tool to help with that. Then, plug that USB into your Steam Deck, reboot it, and boot from the USB. Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows. Remember, you'll be waving goodbye to SteamOS, so make sure you really wanna make the switch!

Just remember, installing Windows on your Steam Deck might mess with some of its features. It's designed for SteamOS, after all. So, if you're big into the whole Steam ecosystem and the games it offers directly, stick with that. Only go the Windows route if there's something specific you can't live without.

Honestly, why bother? Steam Deck was made for SteamOS. Keep it pure, folks!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
