How to Downpatch Tears of the Kingdom
TrainingLace路8 months agoDownpatching 'Tears of the Kingdom' isn't officially supported by Nintendo, so tread carefully! Most folks who successfully downpatch do it by finding a specific older version of the game online (like from forums or dedicated fan sites) and then manually installing it on their Switch. This usually involves a bit of tech wizardry, like using a computer to transfer files and possibly needing to 'jailbreak' your Switch. Remember, this can void your warranty and potentially brick your device if something goes wrong, so really weigh if it's worth it!

Honestly, just don't. The risks of bricking your Switch or getting banned are way too high. Not worth for any game.
Done it before! It's tricky and not for the faint of heart. You need the older game files (which is the hard part) and a way to access your Switch's file system. Then it's just a matter of replacing current files with the older ones. Definitely back up everything before you start messing with it, though!
