Practice makes perfect! I started by watching tutorials on YouTube and pausing the shows to sketch my favorite characters. Trust me, it's all about getting those iconic eyes and hair just right!
Just draw a bunch of triangles for the hair and call it a day. Seriously, the hair is like 90% of the character!
Focus on the eyes first, as they are very distinct in DBZ. Then work your way out from there. Angular features are key!
