In Sons of the Forest, you can't drop ammo directly. Instead, you can equip and then unequip it from your inventory to share it.

Just so you know, you can't really drop ammo in Sons of the Forest. Better find other ways to manage it!

From my experience, the game doesn't allow you to drop ammo like other items. Sharing weapons might be your best bet!
