Short and simple: Jump, keep holding the jump button while in the air, and voila, Sonic does a drop dash when he lands!
Jump, hold jump again in the air, and BOOM! Sonic hits the ground running like a caffeinated blue blur. Easy-peasy!
Just hold jump while Sonic's in the air, and when he hits the ground, he's zoomin' like a pro! Trust me, it's as fun as it sounds!
This might be an unpopular opinion, but the drop dash isn't really that useful. Just my 2 cents!
