Nah, you can't just drop gear on the ground in Hogwarts Legacy. Your only options are to sell it for some shiny Galleons or let it decorate your inventory.

I tried to 'drop' gear by dragging it out of my inventory, thinking it might work like in other games. Spoiler: It didn't. Selling is your go-to for clearing up space. Made a nice sum of Galleons too!

To drop gear in Hogwarts Legacy, unfortunately, you can't just 'drop' items like you might in other RPGs. What you can do is sell unwanted items or gear for Galleons, the in-game currency. Head over to shops in Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley, and you can trade them off. Also, consider if you want to keep some items for later, as you can't get them back once sold!

If you're a Hogwarts Legacy player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
