Easy peasy! Just press the 'M' key to bring up the menu, select 'Inventory', and then click the Yen icon. From there, you can input the amount you want to drop and click 'Drop'.

From my experience, you just hit 'M', go to 'Inventory', click on the Yen icon, enter the amount you want to drop, and bam! Money on the ground.
