From my experience, you just need to hit the 'M' key, pull up your inventory, and drag the sword right out. Simple as that!

To drop a sword in Project Slayers, just open your inventory (usually by pressing the 'M' key), then drag the sword out of your inventory and onto the game world screen. Easy peasy!

You can't actually drop swords in Project Slayers, you can only sell or trade them.
