Easy-peasy! Open your inventory with the corresponding button for your platform (Tab on PC, Up on D-Pad for consoles). Then just drag and drop the weapon you want to drop outside the inventory box.

Press the 'Inventory' button. Once you're in your inventory, highlight the weapon you want to drop and press the 'Drop' button. Simple as that!
