Just don't. While you technically can dual boot Windows 10 on Steam Deck, it's a hassle and not worth the performance trade-off. Stick to the native SteamOS for the best experience.

Dual booting Windows 10 on your Steam Deck isn't officially supported by Valve, but it's doable with some tech savvy. First, make a backup of your Steam Deck in case things go south. You'll need a Windows 10 ISO file and a way to create a bootable USB drive. Use the Steam Deck's boot menu to boot from your USB drive and follow the Windows installation process. Remember, you'll be partitioning your storage, so plan how much space you want for each operating system.

I've dual booted Windows 10 on my Steam Deck and it's not for the faint of heart. You're going to need a good amount of patience and a willingness to troubleshoot. But, if you're like me and enjoy the challenge, the reward of having both OSes is pretty cool. Make sure your Steam Deck is fully charged or plugged in, and keep a reliable guide handy!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
