To duplicate non-tabletop items in The Sims FreePlay, you'll need to use the inventory glitch. Place the item in a room with a door, then quickly move it from the room to your inventory. If timed right, the item may duplicate!

Just snagged myself some extra items using the old inventory trick! Place it in your inventory fast, and you'll see it multiply.

Sorry, but duplicating items isn't a feature in The Sims FreePlay. Better to play fair and square!
