Lol just play the game normally. Editing save files is for the weak.
You need to open the save file, usually found in C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Local\UNDERTALE. Open the file with a text editor and find the line that contains 'PlayerSpeed'. Change the value next to it, save the file, and you're good to go!
I did this last week! Head over to your save file in the AppData folder, look for 'PlayerSpeed', and boost that number. Easy peasy!
