You can empty your bag by transferring unwanted Pokemons too. Just select the Pokemon, tap 'Transfer,' and boom, it's gone with some candies in return!

Trust me, you don't need 100+ Pokeballs. Just discard some by selecting them in your bag and hitting the trash icon. Your future self will thank you.
