Simple. While posting, choose 'Tag People' -> 'Invite Collaborator.' They get notified and, upon accepting, it'll appear on their profile too.
Just create a post, tap 'Tag People,' then 'Invite Collaborator,' and select your collab buddy. They'll get a request to accept.
Honestly, you could just tag someone and call it a collab. It's not that deep.
