Open your TikTok app, head to your profile, tap the hamburger menu (three lines), and go to Settings and Privacy. Find the Privacy option, and under 'Safety,' select 'Direct Messages.' Customize it to your liking—I always keep mine open for charming cat videos!

First, go to your profile and tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner. Next, select Settings and Privacy, then Privacy. Scroll down to 'Direct Messages' and adjust the settings to your preference. Done and done!
