First, download the Steam app on your mobile device. Open the app, log in to your Steam account, and tap the menu on the top-left corner. Select 'Steam Guard' from the menu. Here, you'll choose 'Add Authenticator' to start the setup. The app will guide you through the process, which includes verifying your phone number and creating a recovery code, so make sure to keep that recovery code safe!

Honestly, Steam's mobile authenticator is more of a hassle than it's worth. Just use your email for Steam Guard.

Just dive into the Steam app, hit Steam Guard, and slap that 'Add Authenticator' button. It's pretty straightforward, but don't forget to write down your recovery code and keep it somewhere safe. You'll thank yourself if you ever get locked out.

The mobile authenticator is a must for any serious Steam user. I set mine up in just a few minutes following the app's instructions and haven't worried about account security since.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
