Honestly, just use a USB mouse! Chromebooks can be a bit finicky with touchpad pointer lock.

I play Roblox on my Chromebook all the time, and the best way to enable pointer lock is to go to Settings in-game, find the 'Shift Lock Switch' option, and turn it on. Then just press 'Shift' to toggle it!
