To enable text chat in Valorant, you gotta dive into the settings menu. Once you're in-game, hit the 'Esc' key to bring up the main menu, then click on 'Settings.' Look for the 'Controls' tab, and under there, find the 'Communication' section. You should see options for 'Party Chat' and 'Team Chat.' Make sure these are set to 'On.' Bam, you're all set to type away and strategize with your team!

Quick tip: Just hit 'Enter' to start typing in team chat. If you wanna talk to everyone (like, even the opponents for a bit of friendly banter), hit 'Shift' + 'Enter.' No need to fiddle with settings if you're just looking to send a quick message!

Actually, I never touch text chat. Voice comms all the way. Faster, easier and you don't have to stop moving. Plus, who has time to type during a firefight?

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
