If you’re really done playing, let your opponent know and both of you can make a pact to cease fire – mutual inactivity will take care of the rest.

Just wait it out. If you or your opponent don’t make a move for a while, the game will auto-forfeit due to inactivity. Easy-peasy.

You can end a game by agreeing with your opponent to stop. You both just stop playing, and eventually, the game will disappear from your active games.

Sometimes, you just need to ghost! Just stop playing and eventually the game will auto-forfeit the match after a period of inactivity.

If you're a Words with Friends player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Words with Friends essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
