You can enter map codes in Fortnite Chapter 5 by going to the main menu, selecting the 'Creative' game mode, and then interacting with one of the featured rifts. There, you can enter the map code to load a custom map!

I've done this a bunch! Just head to the 'Creative' hub, find a console, and type in the map code. You'll be on that custom map in no time!

In the main menu, switch to the 'Island Code' tab and type in your map code. Easy peasy!
