I literally spent hours trying to brute force my way into the Spirit Temple before realizing the solution was right in front of me. Use the new powers you've unlocked, especially anything that lets you manipulate or move objects. It's more about thinking outside the box than finding a hidden switch or something.
Just glide in from the top lol.
Seriously, the entrance is part of the puzzle. The game wants you to experiment with your abilities. There's no 'one way' to do it, which is what makes it frustrating and fun at the same time. Try different approaches, and you'll get it eventually!
