Take a deep breath, click on 'Settings & Privacy', then 'Settings', go to 'Your Facebook Information', and select 'Deactivation and Deletion'.
Just hit up the 'Settings' menu, select 'Your Facebook Information', and click 'Deactivation and Deletion'.
I've done it before: go into settings, look for 'Your Facebook Information', and hit the 'Deactivation and Deletion' button. Easy peasy!
