Just so you know, you can't 'erase' a part of a picture. You'll have to delete the whole post if you want it gone.
Hit the three dots on the pic, then select 'Delete'. Presto! The picture disappears from your feed.
To delete a picture on Instagram, open the app, visit your profile, select the photo, tap '...' and then 'Delete'. Simple as that!
