How to Establish Trade Routes in Fallout 4
DepetallingMummy路8 months agoTo set up trade routes in Fallout 4, first, you gotta have the Local Leader perk which requires you to be at least level 14 and have a Charisma score of 6. Once you've got that, go to workshop mode in one of your settlements, highlight a settler, and you'll see an option to assign them to a supply line. Just pick the settlement you wanna connect, and boom, you're in business.

Don't forget, assigning settlers to supply lines means they won't be available for other tasks in their home settlement. Choose wisely!
Honestly, I rarely bother with trade routes. I just hoard everything like a wasteland dragon. Works for me.
Short answer: Get Local Leader perk, then in workshop mode, assign a settler to create a supply line between settlements. Easy peasy.
Pro tip: Establishing trade routes early on makes your life SO much easier. It shares resources between settlements, meaning you don't have to lug around junk from place to place.
