To evaluate a Pokémon in Pokémon GO, tap on the Pokémon you want to check, then tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner and select 'Appraise.' Your team leader will provide insights on the Pokémon's stats like Attack, Defense, and HP. Easy peasy!
Honestly, I just focus on catching as many as possible and using the ones with higher CP. Simple and no fuss.
