When I'm deep into playing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and notice my Switch dying too quickly, I always go for lowering the screen brightness and turning on airplane mode if I'm not using the internet. You’d be surprised at how much longer your battery lasts, plus, it makes those late-night gaming sessions less of a strain on your eyes!

Just grab a power bank, folks. Honestly, why worry about settings when you can plug in and keep playing? Bonus points if you've got one of those fancy Nintendo-licensed ones, but any decent power bank does the trick. Keep exploring without the panic of seeing that low battery warning.

Lower the game’s resolution. I know, I know, we all love the gorgeous views in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but dropping the resolution a bit in the system settings can save some juice. And honestly, the game still looks amazing even if it's not at the max.

Brightness is the enemy! Lower it to save power. And if you're not using Wi-Fi, why is your Switch even searching for a network? Turn off Wi-Fi and enjoy more Hyrule adventures!

If you're a Legend of Zelda player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
