Search their name, click 'Add Friend.' If they don't respond, try sending a message (politely) saying why you want to connect.
First, search for your friend's name in the search bar at the top. When you find them, click on their name to visit their profile, then hit the 'Add Friend' button. Boom, friend request sent!
Pro-tip: If you're on their profile and don't see the 'Add Friend' button, they might have their settings set to friends of friends only. Try getting a mutual friend involved!
