Just run around without looking. You'll fall into one eventually. It's like life, sometimes you hit pitfalls when you least expect them.

If you're aiming to fall into a pitfall on purpose, you're a braver soul than I! Just find that suspicious spot on the ground and walk over it. No need for shovels or tools, falling is as easy as a walk in the (virtual) park.

Honestly, why would you WANT to fall into a pitfall? It's all fun and games until you're stuck in a hole.

Falling into a pitfall in Animal Crossing is pretty easy once you know where the trap is hidden. Simply walk or run over the spot where someone buried a pitfall seed. You鈥檒l know you鈥檙e close when you see a small 'X' on the ground, which is a little different than the markings for buried fossils or items. Just walk over it and enjoy the plunge!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
