To start your own chicken farm in Slime Rancher, build a coop from the ranch expansion menu, then throw a few hen hens and roostros inside to let the magic happen! Make sure to upgrade your coop with a high wall to keep those clucky devils inside, and a Vitamizer to ensure they produce eggs faster. The more roostros, the merrier!
