How to farm fishing bait in Terraria
I've spent hours farming bait and here's the best tip: set up a dedicated bait farm. Plant a bunch of Jungle grass in a contained area. Those Jungle critters like Grubby and Sluggy? Best bait ever. Regularly check the area, use a bug net, and you're set for life. Trust me, it's worth the initial setup effort.

Easiest way? Catch worms that pop out when you break rocks or background objects. Use bug net. Boom, bait! Also, keep an eye out during rain, worms are everywhere. If you're feeling fancy, create a flower bed with Jungle grass seeds and wait. Grubby, Sluggy, and Buggy will show up. They make for awesome bait!
Ugh, bait farming is overrated. Just buy the Mechanic's Rod when the Traveling Merchant shows up if you're in Hardmode. Uses Master Bait which has a much higher bait power anyway.
Just go for the worms, guys. Break rocks and stuff, they're everywhere. No need to overcomplicate things.
