Put on the Despoil augment mod. It uses health instead of energy, which keeps Desecrate going even when your energy runs out.
Personally, I always run Nekros in Dark Sectors. Those missions have loads of enemies and higher loot drop rates.
Bring a squad with crowd control abilities. It keeps the enemies in place, making it easier for your Desecrate to do its job.
Just run Desecrate Nekros and always stay moving. More enemies die = more loot!
