Just scare off other bugs and wait. They'll show up.

Alright, wanna be a tarantula farmer, huh? First thing, you gotta wait for tarantula season - they mainly show up from November to April. Then, find yourself a nice deserted island using a Nook Miles Ticket. Chop down all the trees, smash all the rocks, and pluck all the flowers (don't take them with you, just pick them). You want to make the island as barren as possible. This increases the chances of tarantulas spawning. Oh, and make sure to chase away or catch other bugs you see to encourage tarantulas to show up. Sneak up on them with your net raised and...BAM! Tarantula city.

Having tried this a few times, I found that patience is key. Sometimes it takes a while for them to start appearing, but keep at it. Also, make sure your inventory has enough space for all those tarantulas you'll be catching - they sell for a good amount of bells!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
