You don't actually feed Magikarp like in other pet games; you collect candies by catching more Magikarp, walking with it as your buddy, or using Rare Candies.
Walk with Magikarp as your buddy to collect candies, or use Pinap Berries when catching one for extra candy!
Pro tip: You can get more Magikarp candies by setting it as your buddy, hatching Magikarp from eggs, or using Rare Candies, but feeding it directly isn’t an option!
Simple! Make sure Magikarp is your buddy and start walking. Candies will come flowing in.
