Go to the coordinates roughly -600, -250, -700. You'll know you're there when you see enormous tree-like mushrooms everywhere. Good luck!
The Mushroom Forest is near the Aurora wreckage. Swim towards it, and you'll hit the biome eventually. Worked for me!
Forget the coordinates. Just dive deep around the Grassy Plateaus and the Jellyshroom Cave entrances; you'll stumble upon it.
