Finding sharks in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is all about timing and patience. Sharks appear in the ocean around your island, but only during certain months of the year. If you're in the Northern Hemisphere, check the ocean waters from June to September. For those in the Southern Hemisphere, December to March is your window. Make sure you're fishing in the evening or night, as that's when they're most active! Look for large fish shadows with a fin sticking out of the water; those are your sharks!

Honestly, just keep your eyes peeled for that telltale fin shadow in the water. If you don't see one, keep walking along the beach and come back. Patience is key!

Quick tip: Sharks are more common when it rains! So if you see those raindrops falling, it's time to grab your fishing rod and head to the beach. Happy hunting!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
