Honestly, just look for alternative paths. The game's pretty good at guiding you with visual cues. And when in doubt, Levioso your way over smaller obstacles if that's an option.
Just blast it with Depulso! Works like a charm for most things that look like they're in your way.
Tried everything and still stuck? Might be a bug. I got stuck at one point; had to reload my last save. Annoying, but it did the trick.
