Pro tip: Don't bother with Alien Probes until you've defeated the Golem. These guys don’t even show up to the party until then. Save yourself some time and gear up first!

Alien Probes? Just fly around the edges of the map with a Water Candle or a Battle Potion to boost spawn rates. But honestly, they're more trouble than they're worth.

Finding an Alien Probe in Terraria is like playing hide and seek with a twist. First off, make sure you're hanging around the outer two-thirds of the map - these probes love their personal space. You'll have better luck if you're in the surface or space layers, but only if you're not in the center third of the world. Keep your eyes peeled; these probes are shy! If you see one, don't attack it right away. Let it spot you and fly off - that's your ticket to the Martian Madness event. Happy hunting!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:
