I had to find a post from years ago, and using the search bar with specific phrases was super effective. Also, check the 'Your Posts' filter in the Activity Log.

You can also navigate to your Activity Log in your profile, filter by 'Posts', and scroll through to find what you're looking for.
Use the search bar at the top of Facebook and type in keywords or phrases from the old post. Works like a charm!
