Finding clay in Animal Crossing is pretty straightforward but requires a bit of luck. Your best bet is to whack rocks with your shovel or axe. Each day, hit all the rocks in your village because one of them is a 'money rock' and the others can drop resources like clay, stones, or iron nuggets. Just make sure you've eaten a fruit before swinging to maximize the output!

I've been playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons since its release and clay has sometimes been a pain to stock up on. What I've found effective is visiting mystery islands with Nook Miles Tickets. These islands have several rocks that you can hit for resources, and I've often found clay doing this. Plus, it's a great way to collect other resources and find new villagers!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
