Honestly, just fish for it. With the 1.4 update, you can actually fish up Enchanted Swords from Golden Crates in Hardmode. It might take a while, but it's another way to snag one without roaming the entire surface.
Just use Terramap or another map viewer. Some people might say it ruins the fun, but hey, if you're short on time and really want that sword, it's very efficient.
